ABOUT DACO
DACO ABRASIVES, INC. is a family owned and operated abrasive products manufacturer. DACO was established in 1964, on the eastside of downtown Houston, where it still operates today. In the beginning, the company name was Diamonds and Abrasives Company, which was abbreviated as DACO. Overtime, the name DACO, being pronounced “Dayco”, was used by most and became a familiar name within the abrasive community. In 1992, we officially adopted the name DACO, changing the name to DACO Abrasives, Inc.
For over 50 years DACO has been manufacturing high-quality, competitively priced abrasive products that are designed to perform in a wide range of industrial grinding, cut-off and finishing applications. Engineered under tight quality control standards, each DACO product must pass strict internal inspection and testing procedures before being shipped. Once it meets our rigid manufacturing standards, it will meet yours for performance, safety and durability.
